Happy Nurse’s Day!  we love and appreciate our nursing team at SGMS 

Congratulations to Mrs. Erika Rivera. She was recognized tonight at the Riverside County SELPA Awards event for her outstanding contributions to Special Education supports and services at San Gorgonio Middle School.

Our very own Hurricane, Mrs. Elva Paz, was recognized last night as the Countywide BEST (Bilingual Educators Succeeding Together) Teacher of the Year. Great job, Mrs. Paz! We are very proud of you.

AVID Program update: we are so proud of our SGMS AVID students. They did a great job hosting the AVID Family Fun Night on April 22. This was a night of family, food, games, and presentations showcasing student projects throughout the year. Thanks to all who came out to support.

Family Paint Night was a success! Thanks to The Art Barn Studios with Susan Turley for all the help and collaboration on these events.

Ezio Camerino represented San G and Beaumont USD at the RCOE Spelling Bee today (Riverside County Office of Education). 🐝
He took home 3rd place 🏆🥉

Congratulations to these awesome San G students for earning top honors at the VFW Award ceremony! 🏅
These students were recognized for essay submissions for the Patriots Pen Essay competition. Each student received a plaque, certificates from local and state officials, and cash prizes 💰💵
Also, our very own Ms. Gail Reid was chosen as the VFW Teacher of the Year. 💪

San G won 2nd place overall at the Inland Empire Seaperch Competition 2026 held at UC, Riverside. We also won 1st and 2nd place for the Underwater Mission Course category.
So proud of these kids! 🏆💪
