September is Attendance Awareness Month.

Every school day is an opportunity for students to learn, connect, grow, and build toward their future. But for many young people, getting to school consistently can be affected by challenges far beyond the classroom.

That’s why Communities In Schools works inside schools to connect students and families with the relationships, resources, and support they need to overcome barriers and stay engaged.

Attendance matters because being present matters—and every student deserves the opportunity to show up, feel supported, and succeed.

At Communities In Schools, we surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
