Theatre friends, I am reaching out to you with an idea that came to mind after talking about what we can do to help each other in light of Hurricane Harvey. Although there are going to be more pressing needs, I personally know of several teachers who lost their entire script library in the flooding - over 1000 scripts, collected over many years.

So here is my idea:
1. go to your script library.
2. Find the scripts of which you have multiple copies
3. Start compiling a collection to send to a teacher who will need them.
4. Either give them to an affected teacher you know, or you can send them to us, and we will distribute them to the teachers in the affected areas.

We will sort them, and distribute them to the teachers on our list. We all know the financial AND emotional hit that this loss will cause. If they are like me, a large percentage of their scripts at school are personal copies that they've made available to their kids for reading, monologue & scene work, etc.
