Jefferson County Go Texan Jefferson County Go Texan provides local scholarships to youth within Jefferson County (TX). In 2020, we gave out $81,000 to local youth.

Jefferson County Go Texan promotes the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at a local level. For our work, we are guaranteed at least one $20,000 scholarship to a Jefferson County graduating senior. Our scholarships mean so much to these students starting new chapters, good luck Macie....
I am incredibly grateful to be chosen as a recipient for the Jefferson County Go Texan scholarship. Starting in the fall of 2026 I will be attending Texas A&M University and will major in Public Health. Receiving this scholarship means a great deal to me because it will be very helpful when making my college education more affordable while also helping me achieve my future goals. Starting college is an exciting new chapter in my life but it also comes with many
financial responsibilities. This scholarship will help lessen some of that financial burden and allow me to focus more on education and making the most of my college experience when getting involved. I am truly grateful for this scholarship and the support it provides as I begin my journey at Texas A&M University. It will help me take an important step toward achieving my educational and career goals.Thank you so much for believing in me and supporting my future.
