Alumni Spotlight - Marianna Latil!

Marianna Latil ‘22 graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During her time as a Longhorn, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and worked as a Nurse Extern.

Marianna’s next step includes working as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Neuroscience ICU in the Texas Medical Center.

As she reflects on her journey, Marianna is thankful for the solid foundation in faith, logic, and critical thinking Veritas provided.

We’re proud of Marianna and all she continues to accomplish!

It's a new school year at Veritas Classical Academy!

The seventh graders were welcomed into their new Houses during the House Induction Ceremony at our Back to School Fellowship.

After a late night of team-building, competition, and fellowship, the Houses came together for one big picture.

A big thank-you to House Director, Mr. Mikkelsen, and Event Director, Mrs. Albanese, for a wonderful evening of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition!

Co-Teacher training is underway as our Cantorum teachers led us in a joyful sing-along of "Now All the Woods are Waking."

From a parent picnic to sessions led by our Head of School, deans, and campus teachers, along with wisdom shared by seasoned Veritas moms, our co-teachers are being equipped for an incredible year ahead. Made for More! Go, Lions!

Teacher training kicked off on Friday, and on Monday our Veritas Board blessed our faculty and staff with a welcome lunch. We’re excited to see all of our co-teachers in the coming days as we continue preparing for an incredible school year.

Our theme for the school year, Made for More, reminds us that the Lord calls us to know Him more deeply, grow in wisdom, and pursue what is true, good, and beautiful! Here's to a great year ahead! Go, Lions!

As we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday this Independence Day, we give thanks to God for the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the history of the world and for the men and women who faithfully and selflessly serve our nation.

We are especially grateful for Veritas alumni Stephen Gilbert '23, a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point preparing to serve in the Army and Taylor Neild '26, who serves in the Navy. Thank you both for your dedication and service.

We're continuing to look back on the memorable moments from our final week of school by celebrating our Academic Award recipients.

Teachers recognized students for excellence in Writing, Speaking, History, Mathematics, Science, Music, Greek, Spanish, Thesis Presentations, Art, Logic, and Theology. We're grateful for their pursuit of excellence as they seek truth, goodness, and beauty in their studies. Congratulations to all of our academic recipients!

Looking back on the last week of school with our Class of 2026!

Senior Recognition Day is a cherished Veritas tradition where we celebrate our graduates, recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the school community, and present scholarships awarded by community representatives. The time concludes with a meaningful time of prayer as students gather into respective House groups to pray blessings over their graduates.
