Lamar Indian Dance Association (LIDA) "Let's do this to the CARDINAL BEAT" L.I.D.A. is a group of students who share the same passion—Dance! So "lets do this to the CARDINAL BEAT!"

This is our way of expressing the Indian culture and tradition. We have come together with a common goal: to create a unique, stand-out dance team that blends modern Bollywood and traditional Bhangra with some aspects of hip hop. These elements come together to create what we like to call: the CARDINAL BEAT. In all, we portray diversity and unity; we respect what we do and enjoy it as well!

Now that we have your attention, LIDA would like to invite all of you (and anyone who wants to come) to join us at our showcase on Monday, April 20th. There will be performances and an open dance floor at the end of the event. Finger foods and snacks will be provided as well, so come join us and have some fun!
