My heart overflows with all of the kindness and love that was shown to me this week. Thank you to our school, our parents, my precious students and my family for making teacher appreciation week so special.

Tomorrow is our cinco de mayo party send something Mexican to snack on. This will be our lunch too. Wear something festive! 🌮🇲🇽

Our end of the year trip to Daiken Park formerly Minute Maid Park was so fun!! We got to join my daughter's class from West Hardin. We saw so many cool parts of the stadium and Lance McCullers Jr. even threw some baseballs to our group when he was walking past us. One of which Isla got to keep for answering a trivia question right. What an honor! There were so many schools there and we were told not all got this opportunity. We had a press conference where our students got to ask my daughter Chloe Renfro questions in the Astros press conference room, we sat in the dugouts, got free jerseys, and more! Great field trip.. and we ended it with a delicious lunch at Cactus Jacks. We had such a good time. Thank you to all of you parents who were willing to drive and to our students for their great behavior. It is always pleasure to take them on these trips.
