We were absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude this evening by the dozens of current and former students who stopped by. We want to give every past and present husky a chance to sign their name and share what Highland means to them.

Since its founding in 2013, Highland Academy has been dedicated to helping every student discover their unique genius. We are incredibly proud of our 13-year legacy of educational excellence and remain committed to serving our community for many years to come.

Our open enrollment period is off to a fantastic start, but time is running out! With only one week remaining, enrollment will officially conclude on March 31, 2026. Please note that any applications submitted after this deadline will be added to our waiting list.

We currently have several availability spots for our incoming 6th-grade class. We understand that moving into middle school can be a significant transition for many students. At Highland Academy, our small class sizes and personalized, student-centered approach are designed to provide the necessary support to make this transition as smooth as possible. We encourage any families with rising 6th graders to explore what we have to offer.

Open enrollment for the 2026-27 school year will begin in March.

A reminder that this process is only for students who will be new to our school. The enrollment of our current students will automatically carry over to the next school year, so they do not need to reapply.

We encourage you to share this news with any interested family or friends who wish to join our Husky family!

Come see the Highland Academy middle school choir at Beaumont's Blizzard Bash tomorrow, 12/13! Our students will perform at 2:00 PM on the stage area of Beaumont Ave., located between 6th and 8th streets. We look forward to seeing you there!

Get ready for our upcoming Book Fair next week! We invite you to come browse and find wonderful books for your student. Every purchase not only gets your student a great read but also helps support our school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Times: Before School 7:20 AM - 8:00 AM, M-Th After School 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM, Friday After School 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Where: Room B1 - The Kindergarten Room (you may enter in through the Kindergarten Wellwood Gate on the east side of campus)

Don't forget to check out the Book Fair eWallet! This is an easy and safe way for students to shop independently and choose books they want to read. Information is on the flier.

APEX Fun Run

Our APEX fundraiser is off to a great start! Thank you all for helping our school raise money for field trips and transportation!

The finale of our fundraiser is the Fun Run which takes place on Thursday, November 6th. ALL students participate in the fun run even if they did not receive donations. We are inviting you to come watch your student and cheer them on!

The race times are as follows:

Race 1
Includes TK, Kinder, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade
8:20-9:20am

Race 2
Includes 7th and 8th grade
10-11am

Race 3
Includes 4th, 5th and 6th grade
12:30-1:30pm
