Last but not least for our summer series is Madison Clark. Madison has spent the last 4.5 months on a study abroad at the Rennes School of Business in Paris, France working towards completing a minor in business as well as enhancing her skills in industrial engineering. Madison plans to utilize her skills in language and business planning coupled with her skills in industrial engineering to make valuable contributions at a global scale. She is a junior and has been a member of IISE for 2 years. Keep on the look out for postings about the upcoming semester!

This weeks summer internship spotlight goes to Holly Hearn! Holly is currently the Operations-Excellence intern at BASF in Port Arthur, Texas. BASF, Port Arthur site is one of the largest steam crackers in the world and is an industry leader in the production of ethylene, propylene, and butadiene. She is currently utilizing her skills in statistical process control to identify variation in the thermal oxidizer inputs in order to make recommendations for optimization as well as using skills in continuous improvement and Lean principals to analyze and categorize behavior-based safety observation process data. Holly is a junior, has been a member of IISE for 2.5 years and is currently the President for the 2018-2019 term.

This weeks summer Internship spotlight goes to Kristen Hulsey! Kristen is an intern at CEMEX in Houston,Texas. CEMEX is a dynamic company that provides high quality building materials and reliable services to customers and communities all around the world. She is currently utilizing her skills in Quality and is working on the Continuous Improvement team. Kristen is a junior and has been a member of IISE for 2 years.

Good evening everyone! This weeks summer Intership spotlight goes to Warren Onyeji. Warren is currently interning at Veolia Environmental Services in Port Arthur Tx. Veolia provides incineration services for biological and solid hazardous waste. Warren is utilizing his skills in computer integrated manufacturing to assist the engineering group in updating CAD piping and instrumentation diagrams through field verification. He is a senior this year and has been a member of IISE for 3 years
