TOMORROW: Wednesday, April 17, LUNDA will be hosting our Bake Sale Fundraiser! Come out and show your support by buying a delicious treat including vegan, gluten-free, protein packed options and more! Treats will be $1-$2 each. Every $1 spent earns a raffle entry for a dinner for 2 at Texas Roadhouse. We will be in front of the FCS Building from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Hey guys! Don’t forget we have meetings TOMORROW, March 5 at 1:00 PM and Wednesday, March 6 at 3:30 PM! Both in the atrium (FCS building). You only need to attend one of the two meetings. Please remember that meetings are required!! 👍🏼 See y’all there!

REMINDER: To begin the Spring Semester, we will have our first LUNDA meetings this week! Members can either attend the meeting today, Tuesday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m., or tomorrow, Wednesday, February 6 at 3:30 p.m. Please make plans to attend so we can discuss plans for this semester!

REMINDER: The Dietetic Internship Open House is TOMORROW, Friday, January 18th from 9:30-11:30! We strongly recommend that LUNDA members attend, as it is a great opportunity to learn more about Lamar’s Dietetic Internship Program.

Following the Open House, there will be a meeting with Coach Darcy beginning at 12:30 at Lamar’s Athletic Complex. If you wish to volunteer at the Nutrition Center during the Spring Semester, this meeting is MANDATORY. The Nutrition Center is a great opportunity to earn nutrition based volunteer hours.

Lastly, Lamar is offering a ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification training course on January 16 from 9:00-12:00 in Room 100. This certification is great to have, as you will need it if you plan on applying for the internship, volunteering at the Nutrition Center, and/or are taking classes that require food handling. The cost is $20.

Faculty Appreciation Potluck! 🥑

Today LUNDA is hosting a Faculty Appreciate Potluck lunch in the atrium of the FCS Building! Remember to bring a dish, or just stop by to say hello, to help thank our faculty for their hard work!

Come on out in front of the FCS Building for LUNDA’s bake sale!! For every dollar you spend, your name gets put into a drawing for a $25 Starbucks gift card! EVERYTHING IS $1!!!
