This! ➡️ When kids and teens experience empathy, understanding, and connection during difficult moments, they feel better about themselves and therefore, behave better. Through this experience, they also learn how to share these skills with others.
We cannot correct “bad behavior” by modeling more bad behavior - yelling, shaming, etc. Kids learn what they live and live what they learn. 💯
