🐾Blessing of the Animals 🐾

What a beautiful way to celebrate St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and nature! After today’s Children’s Mass, our school and parish community gathered together for the Blessing of the Animals. ✝️

So many pets joined us today, and it was truly heartwarming to see our children sharing their love for God’s beautiful creations.

St. Francis reminds us to recognize God’s presence in all of creation and to care for every living creature with love, kindness, and gratitude.

“Praise be You, my Lord, through all Your creatures.” — St. Francis of Assisi

Just a friendly reminder that our Blessing of the Animals will take place this Thursday, October 1, at approximately 9:15 a.m., immediately following Mass right outside the Church.

The Blessing of Saint Francis for Animals is a short prayer and ritual in which pets receive a gentle sprinkle of holy water as we celebrate God’s creation and honor Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

We invite families to bring their pets and join us for this special blessing. We look forward to celebrating with you and your furry, feathered, or four-legged family members!
