Beaufort County School District and The Nutrition Group are offering free weekly grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meal kits for children 18 and under.

📅 June 11 – July 31
🕓 Thursdays: 4–6 PM | Fridays: 12–2 PM
✅ Families must reserve a ticket for each child each week and bring the QR code + ID to pickup.

Dig into great books this summer! The Beaufort County Library Summer Reading Program: Unearth a Story brings dinosaurs, archaeology, and paleontology to life from June 1–July 31.

Students can begin tracking their reading starting on June 1. Game boards are being sent home with students this week to prepare. Happy reading! 🦖✨

Summer Spirit Week Starts TOMORROW! ☀️

We are kicking off the countdown to summer in style! Join us as we celebrate the last four days of school with our Summer Spirit Week. It’s time to have fun, show your school spirit, and make these final days unforgettable!😎🌴📚

In observance of Memorial Day, all schools will be closed on Monday, May 25. 🇺🇸

We take this time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

Students and staff will return to school on Tuesday. Have a safe and meaningful holiday! 🌟

Today, students and staff at BRES were asked to donate $1 to be able to wear red/white/blue or camouflage today as BCSD works together to raise funds for Wreaths Across America. Thank you to all who donated and participated! We raised $200 total!

Our overall highest donation groups were:

1st grade = $40 total

Ms. Gentry (A.Brown) = $26 total

Ms. Mclean’s class = $25 total

We join together to honor those who gave their lives for this country as we recognize Memorial Day on Monday.
