A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us for our Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, and High School Back-to-School Nights.

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as students met their teachers, explored their classrooms, and kicked off another exciting year at Bridges Prep.

The Foundation for Leadership Education (FLE) is proudly partnering with Bridges Preparatory School to continue implementing the iLead leadership development program in high school grades 9–12 (formerly Habitudes) and to introduce iLead to their 6th-8th grade middle school students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Bridges Prep piloted the Habitudes program in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education during the 2025-2026 school year in grades 9–12. Teachers and facilitators received an excellent response from their students and found innovative ways to incorporate the program’s 16 Core Values into their high school curriculum including monthly “Habitudes Celebrations” where students were recognized for putting those values into motion.

The Foundation for Leadership Education presented Bridges Prep with a $4,500 Leadership Grant to sponsor the iLead program for the 2026-2027 school year, incorporating middle and high school (grades 6th-12th). This student-led leadership development programming aligns with FLE's mission to provide a foundation in values and skills from which students are empowered to lead themselves and others in a way that creates positive change. FLE is thrilled to reach over 1,000 Bridges Prep students with this student-driven curriculum which fosters real-world leadership and life skills through meaningful conversations and peer-led growth.

Our CEO, Gary McCulloch, is proud of this partnership and adds, "Character is not just something we teach; it is who we strive to become. Through our partnership with The Foundation for Leadership Education, we are strengthening a culture where leadership, integrity, and character shape every student's journey."

We would like to extend a special thank you to Bridges Preparatory School graduate Nicholas Griffin for his incredible generosity and service to our school community.

As part of his work with Eagle Scout Troop 1, Nicholas designed, built, and donated beautiful all-in-one picnic tables and benches that will provide our students, staff, and families with additional outdoor seating for years to come.

We would also like to thank Grayco est. 1961 for generously donating the materials that made this project possible. Their support helped bring Nicholas's vision to life and created a lasting impact on our campus.

Projects like this exemplify leadership, service, and community partnership at their finest. We are proud to celebrate Nicholas's accomplishment and grateful for the difference he has made at Bridges Prep.
