We’re kicking off our chef spotlights with Chef Halker, our very own High School Culinary Arts teacher!

A Beaufort native and Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation, Chef Halker has spent years working in Lowcountry kitchens, including Paninis Café, Dataw Island Country Club, Belfair Country Club, and Spring Island Club.

Now in his second year at Bridges Prep, he’s ready to bring his culinary expertise back to the cook-off. He’s currently the back-to-back Bridges Prep Shrimp & Grits Cook-Off winner!
