Today’s induction was extra special as one of our Rhosebuds officially transitioned from Rhosebud to Rhoer, leaving her three younger sisters proudly continuing their journey as Rhosebuds. Congratulations to Rhoer Tiasia Thacker and welcome to the Rhoer Club!!!!

Watching Tiasia's growth and development during her time as a Rhosebud has been truly inspiring, and it was heartwarming to see the Rhosebuds show up with so much love and support to cheer her on.

Following the induction, both groups participated in Stop the Bleed and Basic CPR training led by Assistant Chief Byrne and the Burton Fire District — equipping our young ladies with life-saving skills and confidence.

Moments like these remind us how our Rhoers genuinely love, mentor, and uplift our Rhosebuds, always taking them under their wings. 💙💛

In the Beaufort Christmas Parade today, Rhoer Gracie Capers proudly represented as Young Miss Juneteenth 2025, and Rhosebud Olivia Capers shined as Little Miss St. Helena. Olivia is definitely following in her big sister’s footsteps!

💫💫 November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, and on 11/21 our Rhoers stood in solidarity with homeless youth by safely giving up their beds. Our Rhosebuds, Sorors and Philos stopped by to show their support, reminding us how meaningful it is when our youngest members lead with compassion. We were honored to welcome guest speakers who shared important messages about self-care, peer support, and the profound mental health impact homelessness has on teens. The evening was truly eye-opening. 💫💫

📊 Did you know? Nearly 1 in 10 young people in the U.S. experience homelessness before they turn 18.

To deepen our understanding and action, we created a powerful space for learning and service. We hosted a poster and pledge wall where everyone signed the “We Stand Together Pledge.” Our girls decorated story quilt squares with messages of hope, packed hygiene kits, and wrote letters of encouragement for youth in need.

The night also included a presentation on youth homelessness statistics and the causes behind it, followed by a group discussion on how we can stand strong together. We watched The Pursuit of Happyness as a reminder of resilience and the importance of support systems. Our Rhoers even wrote letters to local leaders advocating for better youth housing resources.

💙 Together, we raise awareness, take action, and work toward a world where every young person has a safe place to lay their head.
