As school ends and summer begins, we want to take a couple of minutes and tell you about some of our changes!
First, we are unfortunately saying "goodbye" to our woodwind teacher Kaleb. He is moving onto new and exciting things with his career, and though we are sad to see him go, we are so excited for him!
Second, we are adjusting our prices slightly.
We are working to improve our services everyday and we take our preparation for lessons and classes very seriously.
Third, we will be updating our page regarding Fall and beyond. As most of you know, I am pregnant and due in early Fall. This may affect lessons going forward, so we will be updating the page as time arrives. :)
Thank y'all for sticking it out with us as we navigate new changes. We will be in touch soon!
In the meantime, we are still open for business and eager to help you on your musical journey. Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in getting started!

3 concert series
6 concerts
Numerous rehearsals
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to play with the Lowcountry Wind Symphony this season. It was so great playing in an ensemble again.
Although I’m sad to say goodbye to this group, I’ll cherish these memories forever! 🎶❤️

Where we were vs. where we are now.
I played my French Horn Senior Recital 8 years ago today. I’m so grateful I still get to play music and share what I love with others!
Thank you everyone who follows and likes my KP Music page. Your support and encouragement means so much to me!! None of this is possible without you!! ❤️📯🎶

Life has been a little slow lately at KP Music. I’ve been playing music for ME and enjoying involving my daughter in exploring instruments as well!
For those who haven’t heard, another little Parrish will be joining the fam in late August/early September, so we’ve been laying low (in a sense).
We are still accepting new students and are excited to help with whatever musical needs are wanted!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to KP Music with questions or for more information!!
We’d love to work with you! 🙂

We’ve had a wonderful couple of weeks. We’ve been so busy with other opportunities, rehearsals, and concerts!
So blessed to have the Lowcountry Wind Symphony to share my love of music with.

Happy New Year!
We wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves and our services!
My name is Kelsey and I opened this business in 2023, shortly after having my daughter.
I attended East Carolina University in North Carolina and received a degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy. I currently live in Beaufort, SC with my husband, dog, and my little girl.
For many years, I have helped individuals with disabilities from a medicinal standpoint. Some of these populations include children with various physical, Intellectual, and Developmental Disabilities, school aged students, Military Veterans, Adults with Mental Health ailments, and Geriatric individuals in Hospice, Palliative Care, and Assisted Living facilities.
Aside from teaching lessons and doing Music Therapy, I have participated in a variety of Music ensembles including various choirs, Symphony Orchestras, Concert and Wind bands, Community Orchestras (including the Lowcountry Wind Symphony), and Church ensembles. Throughout college, I also played in French Horn studio which consisted of playing in duets, trios, quartets, and full studio.
Now, I aim to bring that passion to my community. I, along with my friend Kaleb, offer multiple ONLINE musical instrument lessons as well as other classes and services upon request.
Here at KP Music, we are thrilled to team up with the Palmetto Playhouse Beaufort to bring music in motion to the Lowcountry. We will be providing a Music class every Friday at 0900. You must RSVP through the Palmetto Playhouse Beaufort page.
If you are on the fence about learning a musical instrument, check out some of the benefits of music.
We would love to connect with you and help you out as you start your new year with music!
