Today, four students from the Lee County ATC Electricity program signed letters of intent with Amteck. Following graduation, these students will begin a paid training program where they will continue their education and gain valuable hands-on experience over the next year. Their futures are bright, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.

Electricity instructor Mr. Thacker prepared a special signing ceremony today, where parents and administrators from the students’ home schools (Wolfe County and Owsley County) gathered to celebrate and support this exciting milestone.

These students earned impressive industry certifications this year, including NCCER Core, NCCER Level 1 and Level 2 Electricity, and passed the TRACK Electricity exam — an extremely challenging certification and a major accomplishment.

Students were also presented with tools they will be able to use in the field through a grant provided by Americans Helping Americans.

Congratulations to these students as they take the next step toward successful careers in the electrical industry!

Mrs. Davis’ 3rd Period Principles of Health Science students recently completed mock interviews as they continue preparing for future careers in the healthcare field!

Students did an outstanding job showcasing their employability skills, strengths, certifications, and experiences they have gained throughout the course. Opportunities like these help build confidence and prepare students for success beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to Dr. Autumn Herald from the Owsley County Board of Education for spending two days with our students conducting interviews and investing in their future. We appreciate your time, encouragement, and support of Career & Technical Education! 👏🎉
