The goal of the Stoddard PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is to support our teachers and students to help provide the best possible education for our children. Some of our projects and activities that the PTO volunteers have sponsored include (but definitely not limited to)
*Stoddard Family Fun Night/Carnival - Students and their families come and enjoy games, prizes, and desserts!
*The Reading
Program - Students keep track of their reading time each week and receive rewards for the time they spend reading.
*Staff Appreciation Events - Volunteers provide teachers with meals during the conferences and organize activities for Teacher Appreciation Week
*Fund Raisers - Students sell a variety of items to raise money to fund different school projects. Examples of these projects include playground equipment and library renovations. These projects allow every child to reap the benefits of their hard work.
*Artist in Residence - Volunteers research and coordinate fine art experiences that would not otherwise be available to our students
We meet once a month to plan our activities and touch base on the current needs for our teachers and students. It is important that we help support our school and volunteer our time to enhance our children's education. Every parent is already considered a member of PTO, so please feel free to attend our monthly meetings to help accomplish great things for the school, staff, and our children. Our meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month, at 6:30 pm in the Stoddard Library.
