✨ Big news, Beatrice families! ✨

If your child is ages 6–14 and loves to create, build, bake, craft, invent, or dream up new ideas, it's time to start thinking like an entrepreneur!

📅 Applications for the 2027 Beatrice Children's Business Fair will open Saturday, January 2!

The fair will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2027, and we can't wait to see the incredible businesses our young entrepreneurs will create.

Now is the perfect time to start brainstorming:
✨ What is your child passionate about?
✨ What could they make or sell?
✨ How could they use their God-given gifts to serve others?

Some of the best business ideas start with a simple hobby, a creative spark, or a problem waiting to be solved.

The countdown is on, and we can't wait to see what this next group of young entrepreneurs dreams up. Start those brainstorming sessions around the dinner table - we have a feeling this year's fair is going to be the best one yet! 🎉

I’m still thinking about last Sunday. 💛

The Beatrice Children’s Business Fair was such a special event again this year - watching all the kids step out in courage, share their ideas, and use the gifts God has given them was something I won’t forget anytime soon.

And seeing it featured on the front page of the Beatrice Daily Sun on Wednesday made it even more special. ✨

So thankful for our community who showed up, encouraged these young entrepreneurs, and made the day so impactful.

Looking forward to next year!

Wow! What an incredible day!! 🤩

We had a wonderful turnout yesterday for the Beatrice Children’s Business Fair!

We are so thankful for our Beatrice community - for every person who came, shopped, encouraged, and took the time to talk with these young entrepreneurs.

Because of you, these kids didn’t just sell products, they gained confidence, practiced courage, and experienced what it feels like to be seen and supported.

It was a day they won’t forget - and neither will we. Thank you for being part of it! ✨

And thank you to our amazing judges: Denise Bleich - Pahl from Tall Tree Tastings, Ann Probst Riechers from Quilt Stitches, and Kim Barnes from Edward Jones. Your advice and encouragement for the young entrepreneurs is so valuable!

Special thanks to Diane Kloppenborg, Laura Pieper, Heidi DeSotel, Lexi Weichel, and Cole Weichel for helping before and during the fair! Thank you to the City of Beatrice, Nebraska - Municipal Government for putting up signs in town to spread the word.

And thank you to Colleen, Chauntaine, and the crew from Vintage Venue for providing the set-up and beautiful facility for our children’s business fair!
