Red Lion Christian Academy is a private Daycare-12 Christian school, of 500 students, located in the heart of Bear, Delaware on a fully-developed 37-acre campus. We are a college preparatory school offering a plethora of opportunities in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts. Our certified teachers impart a Christian worldview rooted in the Word of God. We have lots of AP courses, Honors tracks, and

all the offerings you would expect from a private school. The big difference, however, between us and non-Christian private schools, is our focus on Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures.

STUDENT SHADOW DAY – Experience Red Lion in the Classroom!

Discover what it’s really like to be a student at Red Lion Christian Academy by signing up for a Student Shadow Day!

A shadow visit is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience a typical school day firsthand. Students will be paired with a current Red Lion student and follow their schedule throughout the day—including enjoying lunch as our guest.

This program is open to elementary, middle, and high school students, giving each visitor a true glimpse into student life, academics, and community at Red Lion.

BLOOD DRIVE AT RED LION
Katie Madron is organizing a Blood Drive for her senior capstone project on April 2, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood? Donations are essential for surgeries, cancer treatments, trauma care, and managing chronic illnesses such as sickle cell anemia. School
blood drives play a critical role in maintaining a stable community blood supply, and high school and college students make up nearly 20% of all donors.

Students who are 17 years old may donate blood with parental consent. All donors must be in good health and
bring a valid photo ID. A consent form is attached for those under 18 who wish to participate.
To ensure a safe and successful donation, all donors are encouraged to eat a healthy meal and stay well hydrated
beforehand.

ATHLETICS - Congratulations once again to our State Champion Football Team! 🏆

Yesterday, they had the incredible honor of visiting the mayor and being recognized for their outstanding achievement. It was a special moment to celebrate not only their championship victory, but also the pride they’ve brought to our entire community.

It was also an honor to host them at Legislative Hall and present a Senate tribute recognizing not only their victory, but commending them on their amazing character as well.

ATHLETICS - Shoutout to Ray Pusey for taking the Red Lion Baseball team to Ripken in Myrtle Beach for an incredible spring training experience! The trip was filled with great bonding, strong workouts, and unforgettable memories. The Lions are coming back ready and excited for an awesome season ahead! ⚾🔥
