Welcome Mrs. Jones! Annette will be teaching Middle and Upper School Health classes this year. Previously, she worked as an assistant in our Lower School. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Wesley College and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Wesley College. Additionally, she was an assistant coach to the Women’s basketball team at Wesley College for two years while obtaining her Masters degree.

Annette has three children who attend Caravel. Piper and Arianna, are her 9 year old twins going into fourth grade, and Rylee, is her 6 year old entering first grade. She enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in all of her children’s sports and activities, going to the beach, and keeping up with all things health and wellness.

We are very happy to have Mrs. Jones move into this role this year!

Please join us in welcoming Michelle Mills to our staff! Ms. Mills will be a Lower School Assistant in third grade. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wilmington University with a primary focus in Elementary Education.

Michelle’s two children have attended Caravel since their days in the EEC. 😊 Kylie is a senior this year and son Carter is a freshman! Her hobbies include spending time with her family, going to the beach, and traveling.

Welcome Elle Orlando - our newest baby Buccaneer!!!

Please join us in celebrating the arrival of Elowyn (Elle) Theresa Orlando, born on August 4 at 3:31 PM. Elle weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.

Mrs. Krissy Ryan joins us this year as our 5th and 6th Math teacher! She holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Special Education from Mount St. Mary’s University as well as a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Wilmington University.

Krissy has eighteen years of experience in Special Education, Special Education leadership and Elementary Education. She has two daughters, Hannah and Brooke. Brooke will be joining our Kindergarten program in the EEC.

In her free time she loves traveling, going to concerts, walks, and reading. She also enjoys coaching her daughter’s cheerleading squad.

Welcome to CA Mrs. Ayres! Mrs. Ayres joins us this year as an Upper School Assistant. She holds a M.S. in Human Services and has 3 years previous teaching experience. Her son JJ will be in first grade and her daughter Evie will be in PreK at Caravel this year.
