I'm looking for any recommendations for a payment platform that is NOT PayPal! Does anyone use one that does not have outrageous fees and does not have issues getting payments where they should go?

Registration closes at 11:59pm on Friday the 22nd. Many classes are filled. If the class you wish is full you can still select it and be added to the wait list. Teachers may choose to expand their classes.

Fairfax Home School Athletic Association | Home 12/20/2023

I'm writing about an opportunity for home school girls to play softball at the high school level. FHS is currently in the recruitment process to determine interest for the Spring season. Would you be willing to share this opportunity with the girls in your community? You could simply forward this email or share something like the following:

The FHS Athletic Association -- -- is starting a softball program. This is a really good opportunity for those who play softball to compete against other high school teams. Girls who are in 8th to 12th grade are eligible. If your daughter is interested in participating, please reach out to William Smith at [email protected] or 205.240.0705. You can also just register to play from the website. There will be an interest meeting in January and practices will start then as well.

You could also just forward this email, if you're willing to. Thanks

William Smith

Sharing from another source:
"Sharing an event you may be interested in. FYI, if you have never heard of TeenPact, it is a wonderful program for teens to learn the impact of being god-honoring patriots! My son went to their camp and it was one of the defining moments in his youth to help steer him toward Christ.
Join Americans for Prosperity on October 13th for an evening with Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears and Miss Virginia Walden Ford for a discussion on the fight for education that puts children first. Learn more about Miss Virginia's story of integrating Little Rock schools and leading the charge to escape failing D.C. public schools.
Virginia Walden Ford, a single mother in Washington, D.C., in the early 2000s, fought to create a federally-funded private school voucher program that would allow underserved kids—including her son—to escape failing public schools. Against all odds and institutional hostility, she succeeded. Virginia Walden Ford, the real-life dedicated and effective hero of the film "Miss Virginia" starring Uzo Aduba and Matthew Modine, follows a struggling inner-city mother who sacrifices everything to give her son a good education.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30pm followed by quick introductions, a clip of the film, and concluding with a Q&A featuring Lt. Governor Sears and Miss Virginia moderated by Tichi Eppes.
