We are saddened by the passing of Rhea Yednock. Our thoughts and prayers go out the Kathy, Tracey and their families. An excerpt from her obituary in The Pottstown Mercury follows:

Rhea Jeanette Yednock, 87, widow of Thomas J. Yednock, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at Manor Care in Pottstown, PA. Born in Birdsboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Olivia (Hamilton) Shaner. Rhea was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Pottstown, PA. She was also a member of the Pottstown Area Senior Citizens and the Senior Circle of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She enjoyed painting and knitting. She is survived by a daughter Kathleen A. Koneski of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by a granddaughter Tracy Poston wife of Carl of Pensacola, FL and three great-grandchildren Derek Wake Foose of Downingtown, PA and Devon Sellars and Riley Poston both of Pensacola, FL. She is predeceased by a son Thomas J. Yednock Jr. and two sisters Dorothy Betz and Mildred Fry. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Best Friends Animal Society 5001 Angel Canyon Road, P.O. Box 567, Kanab, Utah 84741

We are all saddened by the loss of William 'Woody' Woodhouse. He passed peacefully and quietly on the morning of April 7th. He will be remembered and missed by family, friends and frankly, anyone who had the pleasure of making his acquaintence. A viewing will be this coming Friday, April 15th from 6-8 p.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040-2088 (215-672-0660). Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. There will be an open casket viewing in the church from 9:00 - 10:00. Woody will be laid to rest in the Ascension Cemetery in Bensalem. May you rest in peace.

We're starting 'Operation Card Shower'. On Saturday, November 28th, Regina (Jeannie) Powell will turn 90 years old! That's the saturday after Thanksgiving. Our goal is to get as many people as possible to mail her (yes, via USPS) a birthdy card, congratulating her on her longevity and perhaps saying a word or two on how you got the news. Now here is my Family Tree (Pottstown Branch only) done in 2009. As my family tree software is not compatible with the latest version of MS Windows, I cannot print out a more recent report. Once I figure out how to fool modern technology, all my data will be available on MyHeritage.com. As Uncle Frances noted in his family tree, the goal is to bring this current.
