It’s here, ghosts and ghouls, the most magical time of the year! 🎃☠️ TRUNK OR TREAT is coming up on October 23rd from 6-7pm! And NEW FOR 2026 - Every trunk registered for Trunk or Trunk will be entered in a drawing to win a fabulous mystery prize! But that’s not all - this year, a panel of illustrious faculty members will choose the best trunk of the evening, which will be awarded the inaugural, but still coveted, 🏆 TRUNK OR TROPHY! 🏆So spookify your storage areas, trunk fans, because this year CLOUT AND VALIDATION are on the line!

Want to showcase your trunk-decorating skills and supply small children with copious amounts of sugar? Or go the extra mile and help with decorations, setup/cleanup, or photography? Visit sargentpto.org to join the fun!

Spirit of Beacon Day has been postponed until next week. Right now, we have no plans to share regarding the new date. Stay dry and stay safe everyone!

09/26/2026

Spirit of Beacon Day UPDATE: Tomorrow looks like it’s going to be raining cats and dogs, and we’re keeping an eye on the weather! We will make a rain call tomorrow morning at 9am *regardless of whether or not the parade itself is cancelled*.

If the forecast indicates only drizzle ☔️ and low wind 🍃, we will still go ahead with float-making and marching. However, in the event of substantial rain ⛈️ and/or strong wind 🌬️, we will *not* be marching tomorrow - even if the parade goes ahead. We want families to have a safe and enjoyable experience and this will guide our deliberations. Please feel free to email [email protected] with any questions or concerns!

Your purchases directly support Sargent students - the funds raised from the book fair are used to purchase books for the library, classroom libraries, and the book vending machine (did you know that each kid gets a token for it on their birthday?). Thank you to our book fair chairs, Katie Cicatelli-Kuc and Elise Derevjanik, along with all our other incredible volunteers!
