For those who missed our budget meeting!
We kind of wanted to share all our progress this year! The last couple of covid years the PTO has been spending our savings because we didn’t want to stop doing all the things that we do for our school. We need an estimated 8k to continue to do all of the fun things we do throughout the year!! Attached is a photo of our budget for this year!!

So far we are doing AMAZING with fundraising this year and how generous families are with donations…

With our funds raised: we plan to give $5 per each student to lower field trip costs!! We sent home recently photo magnets 🧲 as a student appreciation gift ! We also earn funds from the scholastic bookfair to give back to our school .. we have a book to our summer readers at the fall boookfair (whom completed the summer reading page) and in the spring $6 to each student to spend at the bookfair, $25 per teacher, and 1,500 to the library to buy new books! And this year $500 too our read-a-thon winning classroom!!! 🤗

Our Silver Graphics Art Fundraiser items have arrived!!! If you haven’t done so already, you can pick them up tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20th at dismissal (3:15). Any items not picked up tomorrow will be sent home with your children prior to Winter Break. If your children are absent & you can’t get to the school at dismissal please contact April Apostolides, Sandra D’Amelio or Shannon Spence to make other arrangements.

Also, Silver Graphics included some complimentary trading cards that were distributed to all the teachers today to hand out to their students. So fun!!! Hope you all enjoy your children’s artwork & have a happy, healthy winter break!! 🖼 🎨

Another successful Project STAY event is in the books! The staff couldn’t stop raving about all the soups, cookies, & treats that were there for them to enjoy! And we even had enough to give each bus driver their very own goody bag complete with chicken noodle soup & some other goodies! As always, the generosity, thoughtfulness, & love that our community has for our school staff continues to shines through each time we host one of these events!! Thank you to our Laurel Ledge staff for being amazing & THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS EVENT…Go Huskies! Beacon Falls Strong 💙 🤍
