Tips to Help Prepare for Student Loan Repayment

1. Go to studentaid.gov and go to the MY AID Page and view your loans

2. Check to see which income-based repayment (IDR)plan you are currently using
a. If you are already on an IDR, check to see if you are on the REPAYE Plan
b. If you see that you are in the REPAYE Plan, that means you’ll automatically be enrolled in the SAVE Plan later this summer.
c. If you’re on a different repayment plan, you’ll need to switch into REPAYE now, or SAVE once it’s available, to receive the benefits of the SAVE Plan.
