Want to go behind the scenes at Goose Creek CISD? Goose Talks gives parents and community members opportunities to learn more about our district through conversations, facility tours, student and staff panels, and time with our Superintendent.

This year, we’re bringing Goose Talks meetings and Goose Talks Tours together to offer even more ways to learn, connect, and engage with GCCISD!

We had a great turnout at our Titan Collective meeting this afternoon! 🎉 Titan Collective is an organization that brings together students and staff to plan events and activities that celebrate the diverse cultures, backgrounds, and interests that make our Titan community so special.

Right now, they’re hard at work planning our annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, “Together We Are More — Unidos Somos Más!” Join us Thursday, September 17th from 5:00–7:30 PM in the SCTHS Cafeteria for an evening featuring food vendors, games, live guest speakers, technology workshops in Spanish, and more! We’re also excited to welcome Goose Creek CISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Rodriguez as our keynote speaker.

We can’t wait to celebrate with our Titan families and community! 💚

Goose Creek CISD has reviewed the latest weather information and participated in a regional call with local meteorologists and area officials. During the call, meteorologists advised area school districts of the potential for significant weather impacts on Tuesday. Based on their guidance and the current forecast, school and all after-school activities for Tuesday, September 1, are canceled.

District leaders will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide an update on school status for Wednesday, September 2, by 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 1.
