The Lee College Debate Team is an active member of the International Public Debate Association (IPDA) and competes at intercollegiate debate tournaments throughout the nation. Lee College, founded in 1934, is located in Baytown, TX and has a student body of over 9,000 students. Following in the footsteps of successful LC forensics teams in the 70's-90's, Lee College Debate returned to limited comp
etition in 2008 and served as the Tournament Host for the 2008 IPDA National Championship & Convention. In 2013, Lee College Debaters returned to a regular competition schedule and the administration approved ongoing funding for both tournament travel and scholarships for active students.
