The second round of the 2026-2027 High School Options application is now available for current 8th grade students. Students interested in applying to Impact Early College High School, Stuart Career Tech High School, The Academies of Goose Creek, the Cosmetology, Maritime, JROTC Programs must complete this application online through the student portal. The deadline to apply is February 27th.

At the Houston National Cemetery, the Stuart FFA officer team attended the National Wreaths Across America event. Were they observed a moment of silence led by Celethia Johnson and an invocation by Reverend Jim Flagg. Various US military branches presented wreaths to honor fallen members. Additionally, students met Len Cannon from KHOU-11 after his opening remarks. This event encouraged students to reflect on their gratitude for the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes, especially going into the holiday season!

Howdy! Stuart FFA is proud to announce that 6 of our greenhand FFA members had the amazing opportunity to recite the FFA creed, which they learned in Principles of Ag, and earn themselve their own official jacket! On behalf of Stuart FFA, we would like to thank Wade Smith, with Wowco Equipment, for giving these students the opportunity to earn their FFA jacket!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Eighth-grade students across Goose Creek CISD have received their acceptance letters for the High School Option of their choice. This exciting milestone is the first step toward exploring careers that align with their interests, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish in high school!

The second round of applications will be open January 7th through February 27th.

Jazmine Reyes and Arianna Bloice represented Stuart FFA at the Texas Area III LDE Contest today in Job Interview and Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking! We are proud to announce that Jazmine placed 2nd in Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking! 💙💛

Congratulations to both students for advancing past the GCD competition and straight into Area. We officially have our first state-bound LDE team for Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking!

We are proud to announce that we received a $175,000 grant from ExxonMobil Foundation to support the Goose Creek CISD STEM Resources 2025 initiative.

The funding will help expand access to STEM education across the district through several innovative projects, including junior school robotics programs, virtual reality career exploration, and hands-on environmental science learning experiences in partnership with Artist Boat.

We are deeply grateful to ExxonMobil Baytown Area for their long-standing partnership and continued investment in the students and educators of Goose Creek CISD.

We would like to give a special recognition to the district's Career & Technical Education and Curriculum & Instruction teams for collaborating with the Education Foundation to make this proposal possible.

Congratulations to our outstanding FFA members!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Ashlynn McMakin from Stuart FFA and Christopher Sandoval and Isaias Cerda from Lee FFA, who have each earned the American FFA Degree, the highest honor an FFA member can achieve!

Did you know that fewer than 1% of FFA members nationwide receive this prestigious recognition?

This honor represents years of dedication to agricultural education, leadership, and service, a milestone that few achieve.

Ashlynn made history as Stuart FFA’s first member to receive the American FFA Degree, proudly walking the stage at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo.

Christopher and Isaias are the first Lee FFA members since 1997 to earn this distinction, recognized for their exceptional Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs in the Power, Structural, and Technical Systems pathway. Their hands-on projects, community service, and commitment to animal care exemplify the values of FFA and agricultural education.
