From now until June 5th. Schlitterbahn Galveston Water Park is hosting American Heroes Week where Veterans are free with ID and Families get in with 1/2 price. MVPN Chapters from the Gulf Coast Region will be there Friday June 3rd. Come out and spend they day with us and cool down at the water park!!

Just a friendly reminder, we are still in need of donations for the Hospice Care Veterans. There are a total of 13 veterans we would like to give to in Liberty and about 30 we would like to give to at the Michael E. Debakey center in Houston. We still need t-shirts, socks, personal size blankets, shaving cream, mouth wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. We are also accepting puzzles, crosswords, playing cards, phone cards, pencils and games. Anything is appreciated. We would like to make our visit before Christmas so if you or someone you know would like to donate, items can be dropped off at the Lee College Veterans Center in Rundell Hall. Thank you so much for your support, lets make this Christmas a great one for Veterans in need.

Good morning everyone!! I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be accepting donations for veterans in hospice care at the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Hospital starting today. We will be accepting donations until we make our first visit and that won't be until we get enough to donate :) Some of the items needed include.
