On Tuesday, January 13, our NJROTC program showed their precision, dedication, and commitment to our school and their program overall during the Area Manager Inspection.

Special thank you to our program instructors, Major Moore, Senior Chief Chau, and Chief Chen, and to the families of our cadets who showed up and continue to support their students. An additional thank you to the honorees who attended today’s ceremony, including former Cardozo NJROTC instructor Dr. Peter Ridout, and our Area Two Manager, Commander Eric Humphreys. Go Navy!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday for our annual Walk-a-Thon to support Breast Cancer Research. Everyone who came helped us donate money to help funding research to find a cure 💕🩷

This week, Cardozo's Dance and Music programs, run by AP Kierez and AP Georgatos, welcomed local middle schools and their students to see the talented and skilled dancers, musicians, and singers in our programs. Students were able to see performances from different levels and grades.

With high school applications opening up, Cardozo offers seven magnet programs to apply through: Journalism, Law, DaVinci, NJROTC, Dance, Computer Science, and Liberal Arts.

📣Calling all parents and guardians of current Cardozo students!

Join us on Wednesday, October 15 from 6-8 PM for our annual Meet and Greet! This is an opportunity for families to come and see all of the incredible programs, academic spaces and studios, and staff at Cardozo. Bring your scholars along with you!

Admin, teachers, program directors, guidance counselors, support staff, our parent coordinator, and the PTA will be there to chat and answer any questions you may have.

Not to mention, it's a great way to hear from our very own students who are involved in our amazing programs, student leadership, and PSAL athletics.

On September 19, 2024, the Cardozo community lost a beloved teacher and administrator, Susan Rohan.

One year later, under a beautiful sunny sky, her family and fellow colleagues gathered to honor her by planting a memorial tree on the school's grounds. The tree is a symbol of Mrs. Rohan's legacy at Cardozo, with the students she taught, the teachers she mentored, and the admin she worked beside.

She is missed by our whole community 🪽
