On October 5, 1789 a crowd of Parisian women marched to Versailles and confronted Louis XVI. They demanded bread, an end to inflation, the abolition of Feudalism and that the King and his court be moved to Paris. They killed some of his guards before forcing him back to Paris.

On October 1, 1946, the International Military Tribunal issued verdicts for top N**i leaders. Among those convicted and sentenced to death were Hermann Göring, one of the post powerful men under Adolf Hi**er; Joachim von Ribbentrop, N**i Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Wilhelm Keitel, the commander of the German armed forces.
