The Artists Avenue a project of Blessed to Bless cdc 501c3 The Artists Avenue is a non-profit, after-school musical theater conservatory for students in and around Hudson County.

At The Artists Avenue, we envision a classroom environment that embraces a diverse mix of students at different skill levels. We firmly believe that this approach fosters growth for beginner students as they observe and learn from the advanced students in action. Simultaneously, the advanced students develop valuable leadership skills by collaborating with peers of varying levels. We are inspired by the dynamics of professional productions, where performers with diverse backgrounds and training levels come together to create exceptional shows. By adopting this teaching method, we aim to cultivate an atmosphere that mirrors the ability to produce high-caliber performances, placing a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.

✨ New Class Alert! ✨

As The Artists Avenue continues to grow, we’re excited to offer more opportunities for students who love theatre but may not be able to commit to a full-year program or want to hone in on their acting skills.

🎭 Introducing: Bringing Broadway to Bayonne – Workshop Series!

Each month, a new Broadway or industry guest artist will lead a four-week intensive, giving students the opportunity to dive deep into a specific performance skill while working on material throughout the month.

📅 Wednesdays | 4:00–6:30 PM
Every month’s workshop will focus on a different area of theatre.

🎬 September Workshop: Scene Study with Elijah
Students will work alongside Elijah to select and develop a monologue or scene over the course of four classes. Throughout the workshop, they’ll receive individualized coaching to strengthen their acting, storytelling, and performance skills.
🎥 On the final day, each student’s piece will be recorded, providing high-quality audition material they can use for future theatre, film, and college auditions.

Workshop Details:
📍 September 9, 16, 23 & 30
🎭 Open to students in Grades 1–12
💵 $80 for the full four-week workshop
📌 Students are expected to attend all four classes. Monologues and scenes will be assigned during the first class.

We had our first ever Musical Theatre Intensive and it was such a success! The students trained in Acting, Singing, and Dancing all weekend with incredible industry professionals.
