Join us at the Bayonne Public Library for free vaccination clinics for children!
There will be clinics from 1 to 5 pm (Nov & Dec) OR 2 to 5 pm (Sept & Oct) in the 2nd Floor Gallery on the following Tuesdays:
September 8th
October 13th
November 10th
December 8th
This program is brought to you by the Hudson Regional Health Commission (HRHC) and the Bayonne Health Department.
All the recommended childhood vaccinations required for school are available free of charge for children ages 18 and under without health insurance. Available vaccinations include: COVID-19, DTaP, Hepatitis A&B, HPV, Flu, Polio, MMR, Rotavirus, Varicella, RSV, and more.
***We have the updated 2026-2027 flu shot!***
What are the requirements for participating?
You must have no insurance OR be eligible for Medicaid OR be part of NJ FamilyCare Plan A
You must be 18 years old and under
***Please note that anyone who is 18 & under and identifies as American Indian or Alaskan Native is eligible for the vaccinations regardless of their insurance status.***
What do you need to do to participate?
Advanced registration is required. Register by going to https://hudsonregional.gov/vfc You will be contacted by an HRHC representative to confirm your eligibility and schedule your appointment! Registration closes one week prior to the clinic.

Unlock the power of tarot in this beginner friendly class with Bayonne tarot card reader, ! You’ll learn how to interpret the imagery and symbolism of the cards to spark your intuitive insights in order to start reading for yourself and others.

This class will meet on the following Mondays at 7 pm:

Join us at the Bayonne Public Library for free wellness screenings, courtesy of Hackensack Meridian Health! These screenings will take place on Wednesdays, in the Wellness Van, which is parked outside the library, on the following dates:

July 29th
August 26th

The free tests will include blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol, and glucose. No advanced registration or health insurance is required. Stay healthy!

Join us at the Bayonne Public Library on Thursday, August 20th at 6:30 pm in the Children’s Room for a very special summer story time: “Pages and Paletas”! During this English/Spanish bilingual story time, we will read some summer time stories and then enjoy a paleta!

What’s a paleta? It’s an authentic Mexican frozen treat, similar to a popsicle. They are typically made from fresh fruit chunks and juice. Paletas come in all kinds of flavors and many contain no dairy! Please note that we will have allergy-friendly popsicle flavors so that everyone can enjoy.

No advanced registration is required. Bring your whole family for a fun time and a sweet treat!
