First Day of school was a success at Busy Little Bees!! 💛🐝 We are so excited for this new school year and can’t wait to see all the memories we will make together.

We also want to wish our last year students a very happy and successful school year in PreK 4. We have been thinking of all of you today too and are loving the photos and messages we have been receiving from their first day!

To our Summer Camp 2024 staff,

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication this summer. It’s never easy to choose to work the two months off from our regular school year! Not only did they show up everyday, they made it fun for everyone. They collaborated, they prepped huge activities and most importantly they always prioritized fun. They saw the standard and kept raising the bar. I am SO incredibly proud of this staff and grateful for all their time, energy, and effort. They make it easy to lead them (most of the time 😉🤐😅😂) I’m going to miss our summer camp kids! Thank you to our parents for making this a joyful summer with the campers!!

Today our campers traced letters in a tray of nerds and then played a candy toss game! Later in the day they made paper candy apples! 🍎 Tomorrow is ours at day of camp and the saddness is really setting in but don’t worry we have a day full of fun energy to close out the 2024 summer camp right!

Today our campers did jumbo candy measuring in inches! They were so shocked by the size of the candy - we really raised the bar for treats 😂. Later in the day the campers did an Ice Cream Volcano experiment. They loved getting messy! I think science day is a fan favorite, second only to sprinkler day!

Today our campers played a life size Candy Land game where they rolled the dice and jumped the number of spaces the rolled. They loved every second of it and were laughing and giggling the whole time especially when they passed one another. Next they made homemade lollipops using paper plates, tissue paper, glue and sprinkles! 🍬🍭 We are excited to close out camp with a week of sweet fun!

And that’s a wrap for Nickelodeon week!!

Today our campers finished up their art projects from yesterday. Then, our staff surprised our campers with homemade turtle shells followed by the Ninja Turtle Movie on the big screen. We finished the day with a very special pizza party donated by two of our parents, Matt Fedrow and Nicole Fedrow! Thank you so much for making their day! The kids absolutely loved their surprise lunch, the staff too! 🧡🐢🍕

We cannot believe next week is the last week of camp but we are so ready because it’s….CANDYLAND WEEK 🩷 🍬 🍭 🍫

Today our campers watercolor painted SpongeBob's under water scenery then sponge painted him! Later in the day they went jelly fishing for letters in an underwater game. Tomorrow is Ninja Turtle Pizza Party day! 🐢🍕
