North Carolina high school students can experience state government up close through the NC House and Senate Page Programs for the 2026 Session. This four-day program gives students the opportunity to learn how laws are made and see the legislative process in action. Current sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply.

So proud of the work our students do!

We are proud to celebrate an exceptional group of students who have earned acceptance into the highly competitive North Carolina Governor’s School summer program. This remarkable achievement reflects not only their academic excellence, but also their curiosity, creativity, and dedication to learning.

This year, we are especially excited to recognize Ehren Bennet Rolle, who will attend for Social Science, and Wyatt Johnson, who will attend for Visual Arts. Both students will take part in the program at the Governor’s School West Campus, hosted at Greensboro College.

Being selected for Governor’s School places these students among the best and brightest across the state. Over the summer, they will have the opportunity to engage in advanced study, collaborate with peers who share their passions, and grow both intellectually and personally.

Congratulations to these outstanding students on this well-deserved honor. Your hard work has opened the door to an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next!

PCHS Class of 2026 is continuing to accomplish big and beautiful things!

Pamlico County High School is proud to announce that two of our outstanding students have been named finalists for the prestigious Goodnight Scholars Program at North Carolina State University!
Catherine Lackey and Lily McGowan will advance to the interview round for this highly competitive, renewable scholarship valued at $24,000 per year. The Goodnight Scholarship recognizes exceptional students pursuing degrees in STEM or STEM education and supports them throughout their academic journey.

Congratulations and best of luck to Catherine and Lily as they take this exciting next step. As always, we are !
