Our All Stars have been busy learning, growing, and SHINING! 🌟

From one-on-one reading support 📚, to making math engaging with playing cards 🃏➕, our teachers are already finding meaningful ways to connect with students and make learning stick.

And we’re not just celebrating academics! We are so proud of our students who earned their SHINE Bingo this week by demonstrating our schoolwide expectations. Their names are already up on our SHINE board! 🌟👏

It has been a wonderful start to the year, and we can’t wait to see how much our All Stars accomplish as we continue on our path together.

🌟 What a wonderful first day at Fred Anderson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year! 🌟

Smiling faces and eager learners filled our halls today, ready to soak up all the knowledge this year has to offer! 📚✨ Rules, expectations, and procedures were introduced, and our students showed just how well they listened, putting their best foot forward from day one! 👏

And can we talk about our amazing staff coming in dressed alike? 👀 It's a beautiful reminder that we may be many stars, but we're all walking one path together, united in guiding our students toward success! ⭐️➡️⭐️

The attached map shows our morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal traffic flow. Following these routes will help keep traffic moving smoothly and, most importantly, keep everyone safe.

⏰ Morning carpool begins at 7:30 a.m.
🚗 Afternoon carpool dismissal begins at 3:05 p.m.
🚌 Bus dismissal begins at 3:15 p.m.

Thank you for your patience as everyone becomes familiar with the procedures. Working together, we can make arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for all our All Stars! ⭐

🎉 A huge THANK YOU to Nothing Bundt Cakes of New Bern, NC for their generous donation of two delicious Bundt Cakes for our staff at Fred Anderson Elementary! 🍰💛
Today is our Open House, and our admin team wanted to do something special for our incredible staff, so we treated them to lunch and a sweet dessert to show our appreciation for everything they do. These cakes were the perfect finishing touch to a day full of gratitude and celebration!
Community support like this means the world to our school family. Thank you, Nothing Bundt Cakes, for helping us celebrate our amazing educators and staff! 🍽️🍰❤️

There’s nothing quite like having our FAA family together again—planning, preparing, laughing, and getting ready to make **2026–2027** an incredible year for our students.

Because Fred A. Anderson Elementary’s Open House and the High School orientation are being held on the same day, parking will be limited. This adjusted time will help both events run more smoothly.
