Come out July 25th!

The Cobre School District's 4th Annual Summerfest is quickly approaching!

Come out and join the fun on July 25th for a day filled with games, food, community booths, vendors, free school supplies, and much more. This event is a great opportunity for families to connect with local organizations and celebrate the start of a new school year.

There is still time to reserve your spot at the Cobre School District's Annual Summerfest!

We are currently accepting vendors and informational booths, and there is no fee to participate.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor or hosting a booth, please contact us at 575-537-4010 or 575-313-3456 to reserve your space.

We look forward to partnering with local businesses, organizations, and community members to make this year's Summerfest a success!

Huge congratulations to our SMS MESA students for representing our school at the MESA State Competition earlier this month🎉👏

Our team earned:
🥉 3rd Place in Prepared Design
⭐ 7th Place Overall out of 36 middle schools statewide!

We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, teamwork, and dedication these students showed throughout the competition. Way to represent SMS with excellence! 💙💛

History came to life at our school’s History Fair yesterday! 📚✨
Mrs. Sandberg’s class did an incredible job showcasing their hard work, creativity, and research through some truly impressive presentations. From historical figures to important events, students brought the past to life and represented our school so well. We are so proud of their dedication and all the effort they put into making the fair a success! 👏❤️🤍

Last week, Mrs. Gonzales’ Computer Graphic’s students wrapped up their “Muffins with Mom” project with a special celebration in the library! 💐🧁

Middle school students don’t always get opportunities for these sweet moments once they’re in middle school, and neither do the mamas,
which made this event even more meaningful. Students shared the projects they created, enjoyed time with their families, and helped us strengthen the connection between school, home, and community.

Thank you to all the moms, grandmas, aunts, and special guests who joined us and made the event so special for our students. 💛
