COBRE BROUGHT THE HEAT TO THE CHILE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!

After a two-year absence from the Red or Green Volleyball Tournament in Hatch, the Cobre High School Lady Indians returned and made an impact. The Lady Indians competed with confidence, determination, and great team chemistry throughout the tournament, finishing on top as the 2026 Red or Green Volleyball
Tournament Champions with an impressive championship victory over Belen.

This championship was earned through the collective effort of the entire Lady Indians team. From the first serve to the final point, they competed together and represented Cobre High School with pride. These ladies all contributed to the team’s success, and their hard work, dedication, and commitment brought home the championship.

A special recognition goes to these athletes for their outstanding individual accomplishments throughout the tournament: Sami Huerta — Tournament MVP Avery Castro — All-Tournament Team Isis Dominguez — All-Tournament Team

Their honors are a reflection of the effort and excellence they displayed while helping lead the Lady Indians to the tournament championship. We are proud to celebrate these accomplishments alongside the success of the entire team.

Now, our Lady Indians will return home! Thursday | Cobre vs. Deming Cobre High School games starting 4! Come out, fill the stands, and cheer on our Lady Indians!

$15 Sports Physicals Available at Cobre High School September 3

Cobre students who still need a sports physical for the 2026–2027 school year will have an opportunity to receive one on campus on Thursday, September 3 for $15.

The HMS Mobile Medical Clinic will be at Cobre High School from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to provide sports physicals to Cobre High School and Snell Middle School students. This is a great opportunity for students participating in winter and spring sports who have not yet completed their required physical.

Students who wish to receive a physical must have a completed and signed consent form ready to provide to the medical provider on September 3. Copies of the consent form are available in the Cobre High School and Snell Middle School front offices or through the link below.

Students will also need to bring their NMAA Sports Physical Form. Copies of the NMAA form are available in the front offices at both Cobre High School and Snell Middle School, or the link below.

HMS Mobile Unit will be at Cobre High School on September 3rd to provide students with an opportunity to receive their sports physicals.

This is a great opportunity for students who plan to participate in winter and spring sports to get their physical completed ahead of time!

Please make sure your student has a completed parent permission slip available for the provider.
