Our Lady Academy "Let us fit young women for Earth without unfitting them for Heaven" ~Catherine McAuley It is the only all-girls’ school in the state of Mississippi.

Our Lady Academy is a Catholic all-girls’ junior and senior high school staffed by a dedicated lay staff and the Religious Sisters of Mercy. Located on the beach in Bay St. Louis, OLA educates approximately 270 students from Harrison and Hancock Counties.

On Friday, we treated our 7th graders to an ice cream sundae bar as we continue welcoming them into the Our Lady Academy family! Over the past few weeks, our newest Crescents have been learning what it means to be part of OLA. Leigh Chapman and Susan Gelpi spent time with the girls going over school rules, expectations, and some of the special traditions that make OLA such a unique place. We are so excited to have these students begin their journey at Our Lady Academy and can’t wait to watch them learn, grow, and make lasting memories! 🌙

The OLA Varsity Cross Country team had another strong showing this morning at the Cory McGee Cross Country Race at Pass Christian High School, placing 2nd overall out of 15 teams! 👏
