We had so much fun at our last Mom Support Group and are so excited to offer another one on Friday, June 19th, 2026 from 10:00 AM–11:30 AM!

We know this journey can sometimes feel overwhelming, exhausting, and even isolating at times, and we truly hope this group can be a place where moms and caregivers feel supported, encouraged, and understood by people who simply get it. 🤍

We’ll have coffee and light refreshments for you to enjoy, and limited childcare will also be available during the event with help from our sweet RBTs and volunteers. We will let families know once childcare spots have filled.

Additional event details, including the meeting location, will be sent through email after registration is completed. We’ll also send out a reminder closer to the event so no one forgets!

Registration for this event will close on Friday, June 12th so that we can better prepare for everyone attending.

📣 Some MAJOR CHANGES have to come to the Gratitude Gala - Honoring Heather Hestand:📣

• FREE entry and enjoyment for all. We simply ask you let us know you are coming via the link provided so we can prepare accordingly.

• Fancy attire is NOT mandatory. Sunday best is completely acceptable and so are ball gowns. Come as you want!

• Food has been provided for by some amazing local restaurants, bakeries and individuals but if you want to bring something additional feel free.

• Bring your dancing shoes and be ready to boogie to the music of Zach Meyer, enjoy performances by Magnolia Dance Company and join us on the dance floor.

• Get your bids in early on new Silent Auction items added daily and be sure to check back throughout the event.

• If anyone has banner holders or poster holders we can borrow for the night PLEASE let me know!

We'll spend time getting to know your child through your eyes. We'll discuss strengths, interests, concerns, developmental history, and what goals are most important to your family.

🌷 Play-Based Child Assessment

Next, we'll interact with your child in a fun, relaxed environment through play and observation. This helps us learn more about their communication, social, play, and learning skills while building rapport in a positive way.

🌷 Guidance & Next Steps

Before you leave, we'll discuss recommendations, answer questions, and explain what comes next.

📋 Please note: For most insurance plans, authorization is required before the assessment appointment can be completed. Our team will help guide you through this process and keep you updated every step of the way.

💙 Let’s talk about transitions! 💙

At Baldwin Behavior Services, we focus on teaching meaningful skills that carry over into everyday life—and transitioning between activities is one of them.

Some examples of transitions include:
• Turning off the iPad
• Cleaning up toys
• Leaving the playground
• Getting ready for bed
• Trying a new activity

For many children, these moments can feel overwhelming, especially when routines change unexpectedly or a preferred activity comes to an end.

Our goal isn’t simply to get children from one activity to the next—it’s to help them feel confident, supported, and prepared during the process.

Through assent-based care, we strive to create an environment where children feel:

Increasing autism awareness starts with understanding that what may seem like a simple transition to one person can feel much more challenging to another. By recognizing and understanding these challenges, we can create environments where children feel supported and understood at home, at school, and in their communities.

🌟 Welcome to the Team, Ms. Abigail, RBT! 🌟

We are so excited to officially welcome Ms. Abigail to Baldwin Behavior Services! 🦋

Although she’s only been with us for a short time, she has already brought so much joy to our clinic. Her positive attitude, kind heart, and willingness to jump right in have made her a wonderful addition to our team. We are so thankful she’s here!
