Teachers recently participated in the AMSTI Science K–Plants and Animal Needs training provided by AMSTI-USA. We are excited for the new ideas and hands-on learning experiences they will bring to our students!

Our administrators attended the 55th Annual Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) Convention this week to engage in high-quality professional learning, earn continuing education credits, and gain innovative strategies to strengthen school performance and culture. This commitment reflects our Tiger promise to continuously grow and better serve our students, staff, and stakeholders.

I am deeply honored and grateful to have received a scholarship to attend the Space Academy for Educators at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This weeklong Space Camp professional development program provides educators with the opportunity to train like astronauts while exploring NASA-inspired STEM concepts such as astronomy, rocketry, propulsion, the International Space Station, and future missions to the Moon and Mars. I had an amazing time collaborating with fellow Alabama educators, sharing best practices, and gaining hands-on experiences that can be brought directly into my Pre-K classroom. This incredible opportunity will help me inspire my students' curiosity about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while encouraging them to dream big and reach for the stars.
