This Wednesday, we’re starting our new school year the Lighthouse way! ❤️

🙏🏽 7:30 AM Meet Us at the Flagpole
Parents who would like to join us are invited to pray over our children, staff, center, families, and community as we begin a brand new school year.

After prayer, we’ll take our little ones to class, and our parents can grab a FREE hot breakfast to go! 🍽️🐟🥣

And we have a special treat! Lillian’s Meals on Wheels Food Truck will be on site serving up fish, grits, and biscuits! 🙌🏽🔥 If you know, you know they’re one of the BEST food trucks in South Mobile County! ❤️

Please be patient with us on the first day as we make it special for our Lighthouse families.

🎨 Professional Development Day at Lighthouse Academy Bay Minette! 📚✨

Today our team had an amazing professional development session with instructor Jyl Hughes as we prepare to welcome our little ones back on Wednesday! ❤️

Today’s team-building workshop was all about “Knowing Your Color.” 🌈 We learned how our colors connect to our personalities, communication styles, leadership, and how we work together as a team. When you understand your color and the colors of those around you you learn how to lead, communicate, and work better together! 🤝💡

We’re getting our teachers ready, refreshed, and back into the classroom mindset! 🍎✏️

Today, the Javonte Johnson Foundation of Hope showed what it truly means to give back and pour love into a community. ❤️

Children left with book bags and big smiles 🎒😊, and families were blessed with over 100 rotisserie chickens to take home and enjoy. 🍗❤️ So many happy and thankful faces left today, and that alone made it all worth it!

A very special THANK YOU to T-Mobile for joining in on the blessing and donating picnic blankets and tote bags for our families! 🧺🛍️💗 Your generosity helped make today even more special.

The Javonte Johnson Foundation of Hope is about hope, helping others, and making a difference where it matters most. It’s foundations like this that remind us how much of an impact we can make when we simply care enough to give back. 🙏🏽💙

Tiny hands + yogurt paint = BIG fun! 🎨👶💙

Our infant class had an amazing sensory experience this week painting with yogurt paint! They explored bright colors, squished the paint between their little fingers, and yes… there were a few taste tests along the way! 😂😋

This wasn’t just messy fun it was learning in action! 💛 Sensory play helps build fine motor skills, strengthens hand-eye coordination, encourages curiosity, supports brain development, and introduces colors in a safe, hands-on way. Every little squish, smear, and giggle helps our babies learn about the world around them. 🌈🖐️🧠

Sometimes the best classroom is one where it’s okay to get a little messy! ❤️ We love watching our little learners explore, discover, and grow one colorful masterpiece at a time. 🥰🎨
