Coastal Alabama’s Nursing Program has officially been named a 2026 National League for Nursing Center of Excellence, one of only 20 programs in the entire nation to earn this designation this year.

This is more than a recognition. It’s national validation of what our students, faculty, clinical partners, and communities already know: exceptional nurses are being built right here at Coastal Alabama.

Yesterday, faculty and staff from across Coastal Alabama came together for our annual Institute Day, officially kicking off the Fall semester as one Coastal family.

President Dr. Aaron Milner took the stage to fire up our employees, celebrate how far Coastal has come, and set the tone for what’s ahead.

The energy is high. The standard is set. It’s time to get to work. 🐺

Big things are on the horizon! ⚡ We were excited to meet with representatives from our local Rural Electric Cooperatives to explore bringing a Lineman Training Program to our Atmore Campus.

This exciting partnership has the potential to power new career opportunities and prepare the next generation of highly skilled line workers who keep our communities connected every day. Together, we're building powerful pathways!
