Based on the latest information from the National Weather Service, which has determined that Miami-Dade County is no longer under a Tropical Storm Watch, and after consultation with the County’s emergency officials, .schools, and all facilities will reopen on Thursday, November 10, 2022. All adult, after-care programs, athletics, and school activities will also resume.

We are counting down to the largest community fundraiser, Give Miami Day, on Thursday November 17th.

Our goal is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for them.

We are raising these funds to assist the school in creating new school programs, enhancing existing programming and ensuring Ruth K Broad remains a safe environment for our kids, the teachers and faculty.

With our 700+ Bobcat family participation, we will be able to achieve our goal of raising $50,000. Every donation counts!

The PTA welcomes Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense in America-Miami and the Bay Harbor Police Department to present the BE SMART program, a nonpartisan, public education campaign about the importance of responsible gun storage and steps we can take to reduce child gun deaths. *Where*: Bay Harbor Community Center *When*: Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 9-10 am (Gather at the Bay Harbor Park for a free Starbucks Coffee @8:30 am).
