This is a few days late, but we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the students who represented the Blackcat Band at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest this past Monday!
Representing the Blackcat Band were:
Trumpet Soloist:
Ian Ramos
Clarinet Ensemble:
Alexander Alvarado, Abigail Garza, Matthew Ramirez, and Jasmin Ruiz
Saxophone Ensemble:
Aiden Arias, Edgar Tene, Jayden Vargas, and Cesar Esquivel
We would also like to congratulate both Ian Ramos and the Clarinet Ensemble for earning an “Excellent” rating at the state level!
Performing at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest is an incredible accomplishment that reflects countless hours of preparation, dedication, and hard work. We are extremely proud of all of these students for representing the Blackcat Band with excellence, professionalism, and pride.
