State Street Academy State Street Academy is a FREE Pre-K to 6th grade public school academy in Bay City, MI.

State Street Academy is a Michigan Public School Academy chartered through Bay Mills Community College. The Academy’s educational goal is to prepare students to be creative, intuitive, and analytical thinkers with a solid understanding of the history of ideas. The Academy began operations in 2001-2002 and currently offers Preschool through ninth grade programs. We also have a special education pro

gram to serve the needs of students with special needs. Our staff includes a full-time physical education teacher, academic coach, and a behavioral specialist. Our staff also includes three highly qualified intervention teachers in addition to six paraprofessionals, who provide additional instruction to students who may need extra help in the social & academic areas.

Hi Families!

We are looking forward to meeting our students and families at Open House today, from 3:30–6:30 PM. Mrs. Jeana Carrasco, our new Superintendent, is excited to get to know our school community and looks forward to the opportunity to meet you!

If you would like to schedule a Meet & Greet with Mrs. Carassco outside of Open House, she would be happy to set up a time to meet with you.

United Way of Bay County is partnering with The Margaret Jane Stoker Charitable Trust from Huntington National Bank and Laborers Local 1098 this year to provide Bay County Pre-K and Elementary School students with warm boots and coats for the winter season! ❄⛄
