Yesterday the HMS Jazz Band went to Bay City Central to perform at MSBOA State Jazz Band Festival! They did a great job! We received fantastic feedback and our courageous soloists received a lot of great compliments from our adjudicators! The HMS Jazz Band earned a Division 2 (Excellent) rating for their performance!

Yesterday the 8th Grade Concert Band went to Bay City Central to perform at their first Band Festival! They did a great job and earned a Division 2 (Excellent) rating for their performance and a Division 1 (Superior) rating in sight-reading!

8th Grade Band Festival is TOMORROW! Students arrive to BCC by 4pm and perform at 5pm! Family and friends are welcome to join us for our performance!

Our Pre-Festival Concert is tomorrow! 6th grade band students need to arrive by 6:15pm, 7th/8th grade by 6:45pm. We can't wait to see you there!

The 8th Grade Band had an amazing time at the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra's first annual Young People's Concert! Thank you SBSO for organizing this event! It was extraordinary to see the joy and wonder on the students' faces as they experienced a live orchestra perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with guest artist Natasha Paremski. Congratulations to the five high school students who had a chance to perform outstanding solos on stage during this event! It's inspiring to see just how alive the arts truly are in our community!
