All smiles today!!! Happy Friday.

Big imaginations at work in the classroom. Our students spent time building with LEGO pieces and bringing their dinosaur adventures to life. Activities like this encourage creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling as children build their own little worlds.

There’s nothing like seeing our little learners enjoying time outside together. Smiles, movement, and teamwork fill our playground each day. These moments of play help children grow socially, physically, and emotionally.

Learning in action. Our students gathered together at the table, focused and engaged, as their teacher led a round of “Pop & Learn: Letters and Numbers.”

Activities like this help strengthen letter recognition, number awareness, listening skills, and turn-taking. Small-group moments like these build confidence and lay a strong foundation for early learning.

We’re spreading smiles this Valentine’s Day.

Love filled our classrooms this week as our students created their Valentine’s artwork. We hope these handmade pieces bring smiles to your homes, just as making them brought joy to our little learners.

February is Black History Month—a time to celebrate history, culture, and the many contributions that continue to shape our communities. Even our youngest learners can begin understanding pride, identity, and inclusion.

Due to inclement weather expected in the Houston area this weekend, Discovering Minds will be closed on Monday. We are following guidance from the local school district to prioritize safety. We’ll continue to monitor conditions and keep families updated. Please stay safe and warm.
