Congrats to Adie, Landen, and Vanessa!!! Senior walk was today - definitely bittersweet to see them walking the halls for (almost) the final time. We wish the all the best!!!

We are so proud of Adie - our captain this year!!! We will definitely miss her but look forward to seeing all the things she will achieve.

2026 - 2027 Band Booster Board Elections - WE NEED PARENT HELP!
The Blackcat Band Booster Officer Elections will be held at the May Booster Meeting this coming Tuesday, May 12th at the Bay City HS Band Hall. We are seeking dedicated parent volunteers for the 2026–2027 school year to fill essential roles, including President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications/Publicity, Prop-Crew, Hospitality, Uniforms, and Concessions.
These positions are vital to the success of our band program and directly support our students’ experience. All band and guard parents are encouraged to attend and get involved—your support truly makes a difference.
Once again, the next Blackcat Band Booster meeting will be held on this coming Tuesday, May 12th at 6:30 pm at the Bay City HS Band Hall.

This past weekend, members of color gaurd competed for the first time in the Needville HS Color Guard solo and ensemble contest. This was our first time to do anything like this and they did amazing!! They each choreographed their own routines as well as designed the look for their routine.

Deisy S performed a solo and received a superior rating!

Alexis B, Rebecca C-G, Deisy S, and Sarahi B received a superior rating on their ensemble!

Jadyn W, Chaniyah B, and Christeyana M received a superior rating on their ensemble!

Aastha P, Estrella G, Lizeth A, and Lizbeth B-G received an excellent rating on their ensemble!

Isabella J and Alaina L received an excellent rating on their duet!

I’m beyond proud of the hard work the have put in this semester!!! Now on to auditions for next year - I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!
